The good news is, it has a built engine with an NVG tranny swap (much stronger than the stock Isuzu) and was running around 450hp until about 6 months ago when the previous owner parted the turbo setup out. It needs and intake manifold, intake, exhaust manifold and downpipe, but thankfully I have a whole parts car sitting around.

Ya see i don't understand this whole low thing... maybe its because i am a dsmer... we build cars for functionality. not form or whatever bullshit excuse you have... stretched tires are gay... going so low that you break oil pans?? thats just stupid. i feel like this whole forum is full of a bunch of retards that are modding cars the wrong way. sure you can put your car on coilovers.... but lowering it to the ground makes it unpractical to even drive plus you ride like shit. If you were smart you would have an awd car. put coilovers on and rais the car above factory ride height just so you could rally. You are all dumb. that is all.

Seat belt wiring help

My car was totaled before I bought it, but evidently when they put a new passenger belt buckle in, they put the wires where they would be pinched.

Well that leaves me with this... I'm assuming this is the source of my Airbag light.

I have reconnected all the wires but the problem is, theres 2 green wires and I have no idea which one is which. theres no markings on either one. Since soldering all wires together with the corresponding colors, the light hasnt gone off and the seat occupancy light does not change. Anyone have any experience with this? shouldn't the occupancy switch work once its connected correctly?

I also had it scanned by rich a while ago, heres the results if they help at all.

My name's Fred, and I drive a 2006 BMP MkV GTI.

I've seen a few of the cars in the banner around the area already, as well as several other modded VW's & Audis, so I thought I'd pop in and say hello and see what's going on around here. I also did a few pulls with a very nice BMP MkV on the way to Farmington from Canandaigua the other morning... couldn't hear what he hollered at me over the wind noise though.

I was pretty heavily involved in the Sarasota/Tampa VW scene for a couple years before growing tired of... yea... Don't know how many meet I'll be attending but would love to get involved if anyone is setting up track days or autocross events. Especially with Watkins Glen so close...

My car has certainly seen better days, the job I started a month ago in Farmington is my first full time work after almost 3 years of scraping by doing whatever I could to stay afloat - so my GTI will finally be getting the cosmetic TLC she needs this summer. Mildly OEM+ modded on sport springs, GIAC chip, Evo MS intake & y-pipe delete. Her name is Sheila and was literally one of the first MkVs off the boat in Jan 2006. I test drove her almost totally wrapped in shipping plastic and bought her the same day.

Any recommendations for local shops that aren't terribly expensive? Some of the TLC work the car needs is beyond my comfort zone.
